About Us

A heart for people became a vision to serve.

Perfectly Imperfect Events, Inc. was created from a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people and in the communities we serve. Every life matters. Every story has purpose.

Our Story

Perfectly Imperfect Events, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Dr. Moniek Lockhart and led alongside Mr. Patrick Lockhart. Born from real-life experiences, faith, and a deep passion to make a difference, the organization serves people and communities across Central Texas and beyond.

We believe everyone has a purpose and no one is beyond hope. Through outreach, events, mentorship, and community programs, we create opportunities that strengthen families, support underserved neighbors, and build stronger, healthier communities. We serve people experiencing homelessness, widows, nursing-home residents, military members and veterans, youth, seniors, and families facing difficult seasons.

Why We Exist

Hard seasons don't have to define a life.

Systems are built for categories; people live in circumstances. The widow who does not qualify. The caregiver who cannot leave the house to apply. The teenager whose need is a mentor, not a form. We exist in that gap — moving quickly, asking few questions, and staying longer than the emergency so neighbors can break free and rise.

Our vision is to expand across Texas and the United States, host annual banquets, award scholarships, and establish the Perfectly Imperfect Community Restoration Outreach Center — a safe place for healing, growth, and new beginnings.

Our Approach

  1. 01Empower firstWe build on each person's strengths, not just their needs.
  2. 02Build communityWe convene partners and volunteers so no one rises alone.
  3. 03Create lasting hopeWe measure success at month six, not at the moment of relief.
  4. 04Dignity, alwaysNo performance of hardship is required to receive help.
